I told my friend think it is a good idea for her to bring her mom home with her. the worst part of these coumadin things is that the person feels really weak and so, depression.
My dad's first episode was right before his 80th birthday. And that probably made it even worse for him because that's such an important event in a person's life.
I came home and spent the week with him. We bought him 80 clams for his birthday. It was hysterical. I asked for a dozen and the guy behind the counter totally did not understand and brought out about 80 of them.
So we joked that this was a new tradition, when you are a kid, your grandma gives you a couple "clams" ($ in old timey argot) and a card. When you turn 80, you get real clams.
He was really pleased by this because he was craving clams for the iron. It had otherwise been depleted and this was a good way to get it back.
So anyway, I agree, she should bring mom home, and caption the event as "well we need to build back your strength, so you need to come home with me to recover and when you are back and bouncing around, you can go home. But right now you shouldn't be alone." The tone should be reassuring and delivered with the certainty that she will get better. That goes a long way towards helping them recover when they are this weak and down and out.

Try to say how I been feeling, but it never makes sense
You always wanna say that you know me and what I been through
But you ain’t ever had a same feeling, been in my shoes
You can never understand, you can never compute==midwxst – step back

I see commercials (starring Suaquille O’Neill) for the name brand Pain reliever allatime on TV
It’s what made me think to try some.
a cheapo generic version, same active ingredients though.
