I have a chicken named Curtis

She was never as productive as all the chicken books claimed she would be.
But I still don’t believe she’s done.

I have another chicken named Cypher

Today was the first day she foraged as much as she slept
I was out a long time because I cleaned the coop all the way, washed some
spots, etc
It still smells weird but I surmise it’s the wood structure not chips

She took two naps in the sun today,

Then at five she went in the pen, but she was too tuckered out to get on
banta, she walked back and forth and back and forth then gave up and
perched on compost frame

I had elsewhere read that formula about eggs
She wasn’t super productive last year
