I had no clue about anything. I was a stupid child.
I really had no idea we had no money, until we got some, but I was in my 20s by then.
What kid gives a crap about furniture, anyway?
I thought Dash and клюски was wealth.

And I never got held out of classes for tuition, that's news to me.
Though I'd have welcomed the occasional break.

I do recall always having fundraisers for others for that reason though.
They were "the poor family". Not us. We had plenty of Dash.

It is interesting though. You really can't convince anyone that you ever had any hard times, if you also tell them that your father took you skiing on weekends.

Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?

Gift taxes

I have to pay (more?) taxes on money that I already paid taxes on once, if I turn around and give it to someone else? What's with that effed up law? Shouldn't the recipient be the one paying the taxes on the free-found money?

I wish I were kidding. I am not.

I have 2 good friends who are unemployed and destitute, and have been for many years, and they still make ends meet by taking multiple temporary odd jobs of minimum wage, among other innovative moves they make to save money. That much I know is possible, as long as you really want to do it. Not easy, and i dont envy them, but still possible, especially if theres two people sharing the load.

Mattyafack, while a person was plotzing on to his father in law yesterday about how he is (still, for the past 4 months) in the process of preparing his resume for purposes of job application, father in law asked him why he doesn't just take a min wage menial labor job in the meantime. You know it's bad when father inlaw no longer asks them why they can'tresume their past jobs, and resorts to asking them instead why they can't be cashiers at 7-11.

I have a friend who was trying to diet
She would say

All i have to do is eat my little yogurt at lunch and the weight will come off

It did not

This morning I read an article warning against sugary yogurts

Tried to warn her about sugar in yogurt,

There is seriously more sugar in fruit yogurt, then literally in candy.

There was a lady at my work who was always dieting. Her go-to food was cottage cheese with that AWFUL sugary fruit cocktail added to it. Ick.
