never thought of Jon Cryer as a "total star".
I know I always personally thought he was great, going back even 20yrs.
And one of my favorite things about him was always that he was NOT a total
star,
but kinda stayed in the background.
But the general public? And Hollywood?
If not for 2 1/2 Men now? Not so much, I don't think.

he was on every other talk show and in every other magazine article in
the gossip rags

Sheen's coverage was constantly about the weird split he and Richardson had

Cryer's is constantly about his "sudden" rocket to fame, which as we know
is not sudden at all.
