The walk thru was yesterday so i havent heard anything yet but we had to sign another flurry of papers yesterday

When they settle, the taxes will be paid

They will collect the last bits from the banks and adjust the taxes once they get that

We still have to pay income taxes but for two months that will be minimal

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow may be for us and it may not.

I just talked to my neighbor and now I am convinced that she’s really stupid.

First, she tells me all the stories of all the estimate things she’s had done REPEATEDLY since she moved in. Driveways, trees, fences, sump pumps, roof, gutters, everything, at least half a dozen times each, and has hired no one. No wonder contractors don’t respond to estimate requests, when people have 35 estimates done in 3 years and no work. I haven’t had in 24 years as many estimates as she’s had done in 3. Not even close.

The flowers she has are asters, re-seeded from my own garden. I know these asters, and I know they are prolific re-seeders. They are all over my yard. I got the first one from a friend”s uncle about 10 years ago, before I knew how far they re-seed. They’re pretty, but actually kind of annoying unless you catch them when they’re still small, which I did not do for the past 10 years and now spend hours digging them up everywhere. They’re 6ft tall and not easy to dig up. One of these plants is PLENTY.
