Browns’ QB Delhomme still out
By TOM WITHERS, AP Sports Writer

ShareretweetEmailPrintCLEVELAND (AP)—Browns starting quarterback Jake
Delhomme(notes) is inactive for the third straight week because of a
badly sprained right ankle.

Delhomme returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since
hurting his ankle in the season opener at Tampa Bay on Sept. 12. The
Browns had hoped he would be able to play against Cincinnati, but
backup Seneca Wallace(notes) will make his third straight start
Sunday.

Delhomme was still very gimpy during practice on Friday.

Rookie Colt McCoy(notes) will be Cleveland’s No. 2 quarterback against
the Bengals.

Browns wide receiver Brian Robiskie(notes) will miss his second game
in a row with a hamstring injury, and running back James Davis is also
out.

DeSean Jackson and Michael Vick have done a lot of great things this year.
But with 8:23 left in the fourth quarter at New Meadowlands Stadium, the
Giants led the Eagles 31-10, and for Vick and Jackson, coming back to win
must have seemed impossible.

Then they pulled off maybe the greatest comeback in an NFL game this
millennium.

Vick led it off, lasering a pass to Brent Celek, who ran through the
Giants secondary to cut the lead to 31-17. The Eagles executed a great
onside kick, Riley Cooper recovered, and Vick took the ball up the middle
for 35 yards on the second snap of that drive, setting up a touchdown to
bring the score to 31-24.

Then things went from preposterous to unbelievable.
