Regarding Trump appeals
As I understood it
certiorari
It is a legal term that you can almost just call certification
Scotus certifies they’re willing to grant a review or hearing by granting certiorari
Appeals courts do not pick and choose
Appeals courts get the lower court transcript, with memos by the two sides explaining their relative positions
The parties also then get the right to argue and if they decide to argue in person, the court hears it and decides
At this point they are not allowed to introduce any new evidence, the appeals court can only consider the transcript and the arguments

What you mean, why should you? I think a more appropriate question would be why not.
I mean, look around you, exceptions to circumstances require exceptions to be made.

If certariori means to review the lower court decision, I thought that means that if appeals court doesn’t have it, that means they don’t know what lower court ruled.
But if it’s in appeal, it’s pretty obvious what the lower court ruled.

Don't turn it round on me like it's my fault
See I can see that look in your eyes
The one that shoots me each and every time
You grace me with your cold shoulder--Adele

I don't think the memo is a secret. I think it's something that was only in paper before they started doing things on the net. (remember how long it took before memos were on the net).

I still think it’s dumb to ask a bunch of biased dummies to decide who gets indicted and who doesn’t. That’s like asking a bunch of laypeople to decide for a doctor if his patient really needs a bypass or not.

A bunch of biased dummies can subpoena a witness, but AG can’t.
Ok then, also dumb.

Dave then began hooking up with some girl who looked like a hybrid of Rosie O’Donnell and Miss Piggy, leaving me alone to ponder his words.”

“When I was in 8th grade, there was this girl named Sandra who I used to ride the school bus with. Sandra was about 5’2, 120 lbs, and looked like the Hamburglar. She was the prettiest girl in my class.”==― Alexander Strenger
