I haven’t been on Facebook in almost 2 years.
Had to go on it tonight to check an article someone told me they sent me.
Read a few posts, scrolled briefly, and tripped over a post from Someone I met a long time ago
(I met her at a friend's party at the center, she’s the one whose mom is 90 and still lives alone)
Anyway it dawned on me she’s a realtor
Imma call her. I trust her.
I believe we could get her to show and sell the house (someday) completely in our absence.

This is one of those nursery shops where the owner has been growing her own plants since forever. I bought a couple plants from this place about 5 or so years ago and spoke directly with the owner about my order, I had some plant questions for her (all of which she answered) at the time she was like 95 years old and took my order “on a notepad” while she was in the greenhouse, and told me to mail a check (no credit cards!) and I recall thinking “there’s no way she’ll remember and get this order right” …but she got the order right.
So anyway, she died a while back ago (age 99) which is very sad in general but also particularly sad because these kinds of nurseries just don’t exist anymore.
And this sentence appeared in her memoriam:
“Her mobility was not as good the last couple of years, even though she still built a stone wall when she was ninety-seven….”
I am younger years old and I COULDN'T MOVE ONE ROCK TODAY.
