When I worked for a certain company, every departmemt had their own van.
Actual gas powered VAN vehicles, not even electric mini vans or golf cart type vehicles or anything. There were like a hundred departments on that site, so not a small number of vans. They were used to travel between buildings, so people wouldn’t need to walk. People would literally drive 10seconds, rather than walk 5 minutes, from building to building. Insane.
And walking was always sketchy because… so many vans driving on “roads” with no stop signs between all the buildings.
