i did a little googling around this morning and saw that milkweed is also endangered . . . b/c of Monsanto/Roundup. So I wondered how Monarchs were surviving. God bless my mother for growing her own! N the endangered species act. Damnit. It’s hard to even keep up with it. I tend to get emails from environmental activists. Don’t know how I missed that.

My friend’s dad ended up in the ER. Out of control pain, constipated etc. They’d sent him home the day after back surgery. Now it looks like he’ll have a stint in rehab.

Like on mothers day

I mean how does she expect me to answer
Most people would have included their personal memory about their mom, and then expect the recipient to make a similar statement

I have found that even when i was more chatty with her, like when i would send her a political tweet, article or observation

She would respond with something that seemed personal, but it clearly had been clipped from something else and not tailored to the situation
Someone speculated one of her emails
sounded as if she had visited a therapist

That is what that email sounds like, as if that was what a therapist said to her about mothers and daughters

He’s speaking on Jan6 after the riot, and says basically that Joe Biden is a great guy and really good that he’s in office now.
