assume whatever makes you most comfortable
you wouldn't be the first person to decide I am a bot
are you a bot?
I am right in the middle of today''s hurricane
I just went outside and stared forlornly and longingly at my empty front patio and my non-delivery of bean dip.
Speaking of bean dip , a friend sent me a really funny text today.
First she sent me a picture of both chickens walking away from her... good view of their feathered asses.
I texted back “they’re so photogenic... from behind!l
She texted back “True. Every time I get the phone out to take a picture, they turn around. It’s like they’re Amish”

The individual section of MS Fairfax which fits the bill of
'collection of lyrics' is, however, rather different. This, in
contrast, gives every impression of a carefully designed and professionally executed piece of work. --The Manuscript Context of Ehglish Courtly

I lost so much

i should just start researching places to live? Any place that would offer all the things to do that i love. Eventually we will get closer to normal.
And November will be here soon enough to get a read on what direction we may be going as a country. Sadly, i’m not sure there will be any place in this country where I may want to be!

Everywhere around the world
They're coming to America
Every time that flag's unfurled
They're coming to America--In America – Neil Diamond
well, it is lonely here but it was just as lonely in Pennsylvania
What little social life i had was affected by having to care for mom, and then covid made things worse. most of my friends are, naturally, my age and retired or retiring. so they are afraid of covid too. The Phila metropolitan area is huge. Commutes aren’t easy in even the good old days of no covid. they live all over that area, hard to meet even before covid
Philadelphia stopped being my home in 1990, and i never contemplated returning permanently.
I am lost now. I thought this Alabama spot might be home but everything i imagined about this being home has been upended,
Time will tell

Is that I noticed a woman reading
In a chair not far from mine.
Silver-haired, calm, she stirred a hunger
Hard for me to define,--Bryant Park at Dusk

so many things I had to take care of to sell that house
the outgoing pipe hinge on toilet broke in 2018 so toilet did not stop running and flooded it
We fixed that and also added a more modern clean out
This was followed by the unprecedented 2018 record rainfalls
Even when I called the septic company then they said they would not come out because everyone everywhere was flooded and taking water out would just give the ground water a reason to immediately fill back up
Have not had problems since then and maintenance is not performed more frequently than every four years so we would not do that til 2022
the buyer was more concerned with capacity than health of the system
We agreed that any upgrade would probably be 20 to 25 k

Natalie: Shelley that's Colby. I'm in love with him.
Shelley: That's so sweet. How long have you guys been going out?
Natalie: Hah no, I've never even talked to him.--The House Bunny
