today I had my first call with my “new boss”


We covered a lot of ground, one of which was he asked me if there’s anything he can do to “help me”.

I am not kidding you I laughed OUT LOUD when he asked that.

, 3 weeks before I leave is too late to offer help.
I needed help for the past 18 months.

I told him how the first few months were chaotic, no help at all with understanding all the new processes. And this is what I want to avoid with the new replacement

Forget about me, go help her now.



, I had so much regular ) work to do that I was left far far behind with “transition” stuff, no access to sharepoints, no idea how to access all the electronic platforms they have, no time for all the webex meetings (dozens per week), new purchasing process, new expense process, new benefits process, etc and no time to learn any of it.

I was in chaos until November when I hired a tech who spent her entire first month learning all the platforms, and her second month teaching them to me.

Please do not insult me by asking me now if I “need help”.

It is possible that he convinced his boss in order that his home office get relief from another manager's lunacy.
he told me personally that someone or other called in another region recommended loon manager highly. I personally told him he should never trust that recommending person ever again cos the guy was obviously a liar, and because there was no question in my mind that loon manager was the most dishonest I had ever seen
