Ive had monarch laying new eggs all the way until September, in years past.
I just can’t figure out why this year is so different.
Far more actual butterflies visiting my yard every day. Dozen or even more, sometimes.
I’ve never seen so many monarchs here before.
But no new eggs since last week of July. One batch dump and done.

It feels great, see the stage, you seeing strays
Is no longer the way
No more oatmeal for real, it's steak and eggs on my plate

All my monarchs, except one, have all suddenly disappeared as of today.
At least a dozen out there, all day every day for the past 2 weeks.. today poof gone, all at once.
They either all died overnight, or had a 2 week long party in my garden before leaving for Mexico.
There’s one die-hard that’s still out there, been there all day today, all alone. It’s a girl.
