He had been a huge base stealer. So because they try especially hard to keep him off base for that reason alone (if he gets a single, he's almost guaranteed to steal 2nd and sometimes 3rd base also), so he also gets alot of bad pitches and walks. If you get points for those, then he's worth it in fantasy baseball.
It's hard for me to like him though, because he's such an immature douche bag.
Plus alot of guys are rejuvenated after a trade (especially from a crappy team like the Mets)
Except Jayson Werth who went down the toilet as soon as the Nationals paid him 6 trillion dollars to leave the Phillies where he was doin really well. He cashed his incentive check and then phoned in most of the rest of the season.

On July 29, 2020, Reyes announced his official retirement from professional baseball on his Twitter account. after having a great 2018 and then announcing free agency in 2018

Kono: What's with you and salvage?
Frank Bama:Kid, this is a perfectly good example of vintage aviation.
Lou Grover: Uh-uh. It's a washing machine with propellers.
Frank: Big man, you're not exactly paying top dollar here. In fact, you're not paying anything at all. --Hawaii Five-0, Pono Kaulike (Justice for All)

when I was playing fantasy everyone kept begging for Reyes trade

well they didn't give me a specific offer instead so why bother

usually people give you specific people they want to trade

I tried almost every genre. I decided at 14 I wanted to be a writer. I think I had to wait until they invented word processors to get serious about it, but I really tried every genre, and fantasy was the one that gave me the scope to do the most... you could play with worlds more.
