Speaking of birds, I was watering my garden this afternoon (6 weeks, still no rain, I have chosen a few less-important plants to “let go” already, I have no other choice, they can’t get enough water deep enough from just an occasional hose, so they will probably die soon)
and a goofy little catbird followed me the whole time, everywhere I went. And he didn’t stay far away, just a few feet away from me the entire time.
Those cat birds are adorable.
