Monarch update. Still 5 chrysalis hanging around.

One is almost black, will be born tomorrow. Nice weather expected.
Two are grey, please be born on Saturday. Nice weather expected.
The one with a brown spot is also black now. I’m not sure if it will be born tomorrow, or is dead.
It’s gonna rain Sunday, Monday, Tuesday here (hurricane delta)
And one lone strangler still bright green, please be born on Wednesday next week.

Fingers crossed, because they won’t be able to survive beyond next week.

Who decided to burn all that fossil fuel? Maybe we should figure out how to live in harmony with our environment, we have the technology but not the intestinal fortitude; therefore Mother Nature decides for us.--BarbaraChampion

this is the second Friday that the temperature will dip below 50. But will shoot right back up Saturday

Sounds like mid December through mid February will be indoors for all 3 plants. NOT AGASTACHE!

i bought way too much scrub free. I will Hang on to the accidental scrub free, i’ll need them, I hear cleaning supplies will be gone from all the shelves again this winter.

But as George Forsythe points out so well in a recent article*, it does matter what people in Washington D.C. think computer science is. According to him, they tend to feel that it is a part of applied mathematics and therefore turn to the mathematicians for advice in the granting of funds. And it is not greatly different elsewhere; in both industry and the universities you can often still see traces of where computing first started, whether in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or even business. Evidently the picture which people have of a subject can significantly affect its subsequent development.--

it is cold up north and my sister had one more monarch chrysalis to go

she brought it indoors

she says It’s ok because she had a thermometer and never let it get above 65 inside (it’s 40 overnight outside) it wasn’t like 90 or anything
All it does is speeds up turning into butterfly, like a warm night outside
But he’ll be born outside

she didn’t do it with the previous last 3 because too many, she was afraid of squishing them by carrying them in and out but with just the one left, he’s gotta GOOOOooooo!!!!
This week is his last chance.

his can sometimes cost you more than if you had just set it a few degrees higher or lower before you left the house. Here are a few tips to save money on energy:

In the summer, set your thermostat 5 degrees higher than your ideal temperature when you leave the house.--tim k

At least two people called police about the incident; the Silver City police department acknowledged receiving one complaint and provided the police report.

Bayard police also received a report but have not yet provided it to Searchlight, citing possible jurisdictional issues. --MIKE KESSLER AND DILLON BERGIN

there was a trump car parade in the neighborhood today

I don’t know but this has gotta stop.
The persistent honking is unbearable.

Oh look there’s 100 cars with trump flags honking in my backyard.
I was gonna vote for Biden, but after that assault I’ve decided to change my vote to trump. Sure. Good plan.

My first hunnid racks (hunnid)
I blew it by the rack (blew it)
Then I took off the hat (hat)
Had to Dior the bag (Dior)

chicken sitter lives in this neighborhood

she sent the wedding photo texts they were to both of us (group text) to me and my sister

I’ve never mentioned chicken sitter's brother cleaning to chicken sitter, and chicken sitter hasn’t said anything about it to me, so not sure if she even knows what happened. (disaster no cleaning done in spite of hefty fee)

Anyway, who cares.

Her learning disabilities will be a tough hill for her to climb at any job.
She got a real leg up from us to kickstart her career.
And her mom KNOWS it. She thanked us profusely for helping her “mature”.

mk5000

I plan to go to college in Southampton, a fishery studies college. Again, my brother was down there about two years ago and he said it was great, so I'm looking forward to that.
