Giving a Dickens classic the song-and-dance treatment, this British musical follows a young orphan named Oliver (Mark Lester) as he takes to the streets. Released the same year as groundbreaking films like “2001: A Space Odyssey” and “Rosemary’s Baby,” it upset them all by winning Best Picture and Best Director at the Academy Awards. On the British Film Institute’s list of the Top 100 British Films of the 20th century, it sits at #77.--Jacob Osborn

I just saw this strange movie called Conquest, set and made in Saskatchewan.

Principle why I found it interesting...

as you know it is a farming community, and therefore there must be some Ukrainians there.

and there are...a pair of brothers called the Boychuk Brothers, and they have a barn full of art

I am sure they are Ukrainian because they say at some point Duzhe Harno

Changing a rod into a serpent and the serpent back into a rod may be clever magic, but how does such a demonstration prove that Moses spoke to God? If the only thing necessary to prove the truth of an extraordinary claim were to demonstrate an ability to bewilder, there would be no more mysteries to solve.--
