Tho we did have them in past years.
This poem is more about what was, not what i thought i would be seeing
where there was flowers but none now.
I
was also thinking it would be good to see the destruction from the weather
and storms but as usual i am sure it will not make a dent.
i actually lived through several as bad that i kept looking for more of
those images underfoot rather than wistfulness
One city i lived in where i had to walk to work, had a downed tree for a
week that was as large as a house. it was very very hard to get to work
i would be afraid to complain, but that is what i was looking for
