you know what else bugs me

Who exactly will be the lucky recipients of a sudden increase in property
values because their house just happens to about or be really close to the
new greenways. We know who. but how will they hide the corruption and
graft of it this time

It's just a sad replay of the 60s as far as I can tell. If the
neighborhoods are obvious they'll displace the poor again, whoever those
poor might be. Instead of doing like we did in the 70s after driving
everyone out, (a project I worked on btw) taking people who want to invest
and live in housing stock, but don't have cash,to rehab the place put in so
called sweat equity and move in after they've brought it up to code.

The idea here I think is if you can't build and sell houses then create
another phony bubble by awarding contracts to those who lost in the bubble
but awarding demolition contracts, not building contracts. It's a scam all
around

But of corpse!
